Mother Whale

A giant transport that keeps launching Raptures. The key is destroying the core first and clearing the first summoned wave fast.

Tyrant classElementWaterWeaknessElectric Code

Based on the standard code. Solo Raid Season 29 featured an Electric code variant (weak to Iron).

  • TowerKnown to appear on Missilis Tower floor 360.In Manufacturer Towers, your choice of Nikkes is limited, so it's easy to get stuck here.

Mechanics and counters

  • Ultrasonic waves and core

    Pattern
Its core emits ultrasonic waves that greatly empower summoned Raptures. Empowered Raptures gain HP that only goes down by hit count.
    Counter
Destroy the core first. Once it's broken, it stops using ultrasonic waves.
  • Rapture summons and elemental barrier

    Pattern
It launches Raptures and shields its body with a barrier while any summons remain. With the barrier up, only its weakness code damages the body, and pierce is blocked too.
    Counter
Clear the first wave as fast as possible. Use an AoE Burst right after the summon, or bring high-hit-count MGs or Dorothy, who ignores hit-count HP.
  • Missile barrage

    Pattern
Unleashes a barrage of missiles; each hit lowers the Nikke's DEF, and the effect stacks.
    Counter
The missiles can be shot down. Destroying the side pods quickly shortens the missile phase.
  • Charge

    Pattern
The body charges in, taking more than half of a Nikke's HP.
    Counter
Take cover or block it with a shield.
  • Elite Rapture summons

    Pattern
Strong Raptures appear and won't leave until they've fired all their attacks. Several Nikkes can go down even in cover.
    Counter
Have a taunt Nikke absorb the attacks, or survive with invincibility and healing. Crown's invincible taunt also helps get through this pattern.

Recommended Nikkes and teams

Solo Raid Museum Electric team

The base form is Water code, so Electric attacker Cinderella is the main dealer. Anis: Star covers Burst I and Crown tanks the elite Raptures' barrage.

Tribe Tower teams

Each Tribe Tower only allows Nikkes from that manufacturer. The Pilgrim/Overspec tower also allows Overspec Nikkes.

Missilis

The standard Missilis core, with Liter, Tia and Naga on cooldown, shields and healing, and Ein and Quency: Escape Queen dealing damage.

Based on 2025-11 sources

Good to know

  • The side pods take pierce well, so with the right angle you can hit several at once.
  • The starting distance is very far, so building Burst gauge with rocket launchers can be slow.
