Land Eater

A turtle Rapture that swallowed a research base. Destroy its four parts in phase 1 and don't miss the interruption gauge on its back.

Mechanics and counters

  • Phase 1 barrage and bombs

    Pattern
    In its facility form, it alternates between missiles, bombs and blue bullet barrages. The blue barrage can down a Nikke in one go if your combat power is far behind.
    Counter
    Take the blue barrage in cover and clear the bombs with AoE like Scarlet or Privaty. Destroying the four parts turns it into its turtle form.

  • Phase 2 interruption gauge

    Pattern
    In turtle form, a high interruption gauge appears in the middle of its body. If you fail, it raises a large shield that blocks all damage.
    Counter
    Focus your firepower on the gauge. The interruption comes twice in a row, so save your Full Burst.

  • Breath and mouth beam

    Pattern
    Fires a breath and a mouth beam at a single Nikke. They hurt badly if you're not in cover.
    Counter
    Take cover or block them with Centi's or Blanc's shield.

  • Phase 3

    Pattern
    Its outer turrets break and two interruption gauges alternate diagonally across its body. If you fail, it fires a stream of lasers at one Nikke.
    Counter
    Aim at whichever gauge appears right away.

Recommended Nikkes and teams

Union Raid Electric team

Cinderella and Maiden: Ice Rose alternate bursts for Electric damage. Nayuta gains a lot from Moran's cooldown reduction and buffs. Break the phase 1 parts fast and never miss the phase 2 interruption.

Tribe Tower teams

Each Tribe Tower only allows Nikkes from that manufacturer. The Pilgrim/Overspec tower also allows Overspec Nikkes.

  • Electric code Nikkes like Scarlet suit the standard version well.
